Circulon created the first line of hard-anodized non-stick cookware in 1985. They now offer a variety of innovative cookware that characterizes the total output food system. The surface of the pot has grooves, which increases its durability and non-stick properties. Clean Circulon cookware with dishwashing liquid and a nylon wash pad for best results. Finely powdered detergent or baking soda can be used to remove difficult stains on a stainless steel or copper exterior.
Tips and Warnings
Do not use bleach or chemicals to clean Circulon cookware.
Your Circulon cookware is largely due to the exclusive high-low grooves within the pot. These grooves keep oils and fats away from food during cooking. To keep your cookware in top form, it is essential to wash the cookware after each use. This will prevent the accumulation of food and fat in the low points of the grooves. It is also important to use non-abrasive cleaners to avoid damaging the non-stick finish of your pot.
Make sure to clean your Circulon cookware with warm, soapy water. Hot water helps get rid of any food or fat attached to the pan. Leave the pan for a few minutes to allow the warm water and mild dish soap to penetrate the food and fats that can settle inside the pan’s thickets.
You should make sure to rinse the pan well with warm water. Coldwater cannot remove all soap or grease residue, so make the water as hot as possible.
Using a soft nylon bristle brush is important to make sure you don’t scratch the non-stick finish. The bristles must bend easily when applying pressure with the finger. You can gently but firmly clean the pan’s cooking surface by using round strokes along the pan’s grooves.
You’ll want to make sure you dry the pan right away. Droplets of water left to air dry on the pan could leave water stains that affect the non-stick properties. Then, dry the Circulon pots and pans with a cloth immediately after washing.
If food has stuck to the Circulon’s non-stick cookware, there may be food or fat trapped in the grooves. You can get rid of those pieces of food that are difficult to clean by mixing white vinegar with water. You will want to boil this mixture in the pan for about 5-10 minutes. Next, pour the vinegar mixture and wash and dry the Circulon pan, as usual, using a mild soap and a soft nylon brush.
Warnings
First, do not place your Circulon cookware in the dishwasher. This could ruin its non-stick coating. The warranty does not cover any accidental damage to the dishwasher’s Circulon cookware.
Never use steel wool to clean Circulon. Abrasive pads of any type can destroy the finish both inside and outside of your pots and pans. It is important to avoid bleaches, oven cleaners, or other aggressive cleaners to clean Circulon too.
