The only downsides people have to say about this product are that it only steams. And heats meats and it has a plastic smell. Putting in raw bacon, for example, will not cook it into a crispy texture as it will only steam the meat. When this toaster heats up, it exudes a very plastic smell that some find a not good sign. But there are some who find the smell very tolerable and bearable.
